Below are a list of events that are coming up in the future. We wanted to share them with you in case you are looking for a time to volunteer or attend a field trip. More information will be coming on all of these events. 

Swimming Unit at the high school- April 15th-19th (during school, no chaperones needed)

Sarett Nature Center - May 2nd 10:00am-12:30pm (Parents may attend by meeting us there)

3rd-5th Grade Track Meet - May 15th at the high school (Parents may volunteer to help or just attend)

Potawatomi Zoo in South Bend - May 17th (Chaperones needed)

Reading Camp at Lincoln - May 20th (Volunteers needed)

Lincoln School Picnic/Field Day - Thursday, May 23rd (During the day, volunteers needed)

March is Reading Month

We wrapped up our March Reading Madness Tournament of Books this week. The winning book was a past champion. Finding Winnie, one of the best stories ever written, beat out the newbie Hidden Gem. If you're looking for some wonderful picture books, check out some of the ones we've read this past month.

M-STEP Testing

Third grade M-STEP testing is quickly approaching. Here is our schedule for testing. If possible, please schedule appointments around these times.

There is really no way students can "study" for these tests, but you can help your child be ready for these by:

• Making sure your child has a good night's rest.
• Making sure your child eats a healthy breakfast.
• Providing a positive send off to school in the morning.
• Not scheduling appointments on these days.
