Social Studies Test Friday!
We are nearing the end of Chapter 3 in Social Studies. We will be sending a study guide home on Tuesday. Please be sure your child reviews the information on the study guide so they are prepared for Friday's test.
Parent Teacher Conferences
The winter parent teacher conference window this year is from February 5th - 29th. As in the past, we will not be meeting with every parent for winter conferences. We will be sending out emails later this week with a link to a signup genius for those parents that we would like to meet with. However, if you don’t receive an email, but have concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact your child's teacher.
Pizza Multiplication
Please check with your child to see which level they are working on this week. Some students need extra practice at home, especially on the 6's, 7's and 8's. Flashcards and IXL O Skills are great ways to practice at home. Our pizza party will be on Friday, March 1st. Learning their multiplication facts will be key to their success in math. Thank you for your support on this at home!
Valentine's Day Party
We will have our class Valentine's Day celebration on Wednesday, February 14th. Your child is welcome to bring valentines to school to pass out to classmates. It is not mandatory to share valentines, but if the choice is made to bring them, please ensure that one is brought for everyone in our class and that each one is signed by your child. A class list was sent home. Each class list is also linked below.
We will design Valentine bags in class so this will not need to be done at home. Completed valentines may be brought to school on February 14th.
