Pizza Multiplication

All students are showing growth in becoming more fluent with their multiplication facts, but most still need more practice at home, especially on the 6's, 7's and 8's. Please check with your child to see which level they are working on this week. Flashcards and IXL O Skills are great ways to practice at home. Our pizza party will be this Friday, March 1st. Learning their multiplication facts will be key to their success in math. Thank you for your support on this at home!

Animals Through Time Science Test on Thursday

We are wrapping up our science unit on Animals Through Time early this week and will have a test on Thursday. A study guide will be sent home early in the week so students can review. In addition, all the mystery science videos and activities can be found in your child's Google Classroom.

Pizza Fact Celebration/Read-IN Friday

To celebrate the end of our second trimester and the beginning of March is Reading month we will be having a read-in next Friday morning. Students are encouraged to bring blankets, pillows, and lots of books!

In addition to the read-in, we will also be celebrating our growth in math fact fluency with pizza math and will enjoy some real pizza! Plus it's popcorn Friday. There will be plenty of snacks so no need to send a snack with your student next Friday.
